Celebrate the Holidays in Sturgeon Bay

Christmas by the Bay begins with the annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday night and continues throughout the weekend with live music, wagon rides, a Santa parade and children’s activities.

Hunters Stew on Washington Island

Nothing says fall quite like the annual Hunters Stew on Washington Island, sponsored by the Washington Island Lion’s Club! 5 – 8 pm.

Santa Claus Chronicles at Third Avenue Playhouse

This live edition of The Santa Claus Chronicles brings the audience to the North Pole in the days before Christmas, answering questions about Santa Claus, his elves, reindeer, gift suggestion hotline and the biggest mystery of all – where is Mrs. Claus? 7:30 pm.

Ladies Weekend at Stone Harbor

Is the man in your life miles away sitting in a tree stand waiting to claim his trophy buck this weekend? Take advantage of the free time with Ladies Weekend at Stone Harbor Resort, completely with a stop ‘n shop in the ballroom, live music by Men in Suits, and the opening act of the all-females comedian show, Dangerous Dames of Comedy.  8 am – 3 pm.

Handcrafted Bowls at Peninsula School of Art

This month’s Family Art Day at Peninsula School of Art features bowl making for the annual SOUP! fundraiser, which benefits Habitat for Humanity of Sturgeon Bay and the art school’s free children’s outreach programs. 9 am – 12 pm.

Holiday Art Crawl in Sturgeon Bay

More than 15 artists and galleries will open their doors to the public during this annual event. Visit their Facebook page for a complete list of participating locations for a map and complete list of participants. 10 am – 3 pm.

Holiday Fair

The Rotary Club of Door County North will host a holiday fair to benefit projects involving youth and the environment at the Sister Bay Fire Station. This is a great opportunity to kick start your holiday shopping by purchasing handmade jewelry, artwork, clocks, photography, home decor, bowls, coffee, soap, knitted items and candles from local artists and craftsmen, along with representatives for Mary Kay, Pampered Chef and Arbonne. 10 am – 3 pm.
