$109,000 Raised at DCMC Foundation Golf Marathon

The 17th Annual DCMC Foundation Golf Marathon, held Aug. 28 at The Orchards Golf Course, was a success and raised $109,000 (a new record).

To be eligible to play each team must raise a minimum of $2,100. This year a team of hospital employees (Dan Boes, Greg Holub and Shane Peterson) raised the most by bringing in a total of $14,500.

This is the fifth consecutive year that this event has raised more than $100,000. In the past 17 years, the golf marathon has cumulatively brought in more than $950,000 for Ministry Door County Medical Center. This year the proceeds helped cover the construction costs of the new Inpatient Services and Emergency Room addition.
