Boys & Girls Club Members Invited to Shop at Bargains Unlimited

Children ages 6 to 17 were ecstatic after a two-hour shopping spree at Bargains Unlimited in Sister Bay on Dec. 13. For the second year in a row, Boys and Girls Club members were treated to a pre-Christmas shopping event by Bargains Unlimited staff and volunteers. Babler Bus once again donated their services to transport members from the Boys & Girls Club to the Sister Bay store. The Boys & Girls Club members arrived with personalized bags, and lists of family members they hoped to delight with special presents. Bargains Unlimited volunteers assisted with holiday shopping ideas as well as suggested useful items for siblings, parents and grandparents.

“We want to thank Bargains Unlimited for providing a wonderful experience for our members,” said Julie Davis, Boys and Girls Club of Door County Executive Director. “This event not only gives our members a chance to shop for much needed items for their families, but helps them experience the joy of giving this holiday season.”

After the holiday shopping, Bargains Unlimited volunteers helped members wrap their presents over cookies and sandwiches, giving them the chance to deliver wrapped presents to their family members when they arrived home.

Located at 10578 Applewood Lane in Sister Bay, Bargains Unlimited is the place for finding treasures. Proceeds benefit the residents and staff of Good Samaritan Scandia Village Senior Living Community in Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.9669 or email [email protected].
