Hillside Inn of Ephraim to Reopen Doors in 2016

The Hillside Inn of Ephraim will reopen its doors in February 2016. Diane Taillon, owner/broker of Arbor Crowne Properties, and a longtime, year-round resident of Ephraim, has been dreaming of this day for many years, and it’s now a reality.

“The Hillside Inn is one of the most iconic historical structures in Ephraim and Door County, making it a centerpiece of almost every photo taken of the charming Ephraim village landscape. Our focus is to not only reopen the inn for lodging, but to make The Hillside an integral part of the community,” said Taillon.

The inn has been meticulously renovated with careful attention to every detail, while preserving the original integrity and simplicity of this classic white-painted landmark. The restored inn is listed on the National Register of Historical Places with all the amenities of a luxury hotel.

The inn features five beautifully appointed suites (four with water views) and two cottages, all with fireplaces and elegant baths.

The inn will welcome artists, musicians, cooking classes, book clubs, nonprofits, business groups, and, of course, weddings, to fully utilize the beautiful grounds and gorgeous views of The Hillside.

The inn will be operated by Taillon, with assistance from Carrie Counihan and Carol Schalla. The team also runs Diane’s luxury real estate company, Arbor Crowne Properties, with offices in The Hillside.

A grand opening celebration with private tours is scheduled for Valentine’s Day weekend 2016. For more information, call Taillon 920.854.3272 or visit hillsideofdoorcounty.com.
