St. John Bosco School Receives Certificate of Recognition of Veteran Support

St. John Bosco Catholic School received a Certificate of Recognition from the State of Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs for their support of Wisconsin veterans. This certificate was presented to St. John Bosco in appreciation for their 2015 Veteran’s Day project. In honor of Veterans Day, the students in first through eighth grade wrote personal letters of appreciation to Northeast Wisconsin veterans for protecting and defending our freedom and way of life. More than 170 letters were written. 4K and kindergartners colored/painted flags which were inserted into the envelopes prior to sealing. The students have received letters, calls and visits from veterans who received letters and were touched by the gesture.
