Waseda Farms Sold Broth to Benefit Local Organizations

On Jan. 1, Sayard Geeve and Vallarie Callies with Waseda Farms joined all the Polar Bear Plunge enthusiasts and spectators down at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport. They were onsite selling organic chicken broth for $1, with all of the proceeds distributed between Jacksonport Fire Department and Feed My People in Sturgeon Bay. If all five gallons of broth were sold out, Waseda Farms would double the donation. The broth sold out and several participants donated more than the expected $1 per cup, so both organizations received $150.
