Nominations Sought for 2016 Golden Heart Awards

The Volunteer Center of Door County is seeking nominations for the 2016 Golden Heart Volunteer Awards. Nominees are being sought in the following five categories: Adult; Group; Environmental; Lifetime of Service; and Youth (includes scholarship).

All nominees will be recognized, and winners will be announced at the Golden Heart Volunteer Celebration. In keeping with the spirit of connecting people and changing lives, award recipients will receive $500 to donate to a Door County charity of their choice. Three $500 academic scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who demonstrated an outstanding commitment to volunteerism.
