Door-Tran Aims to Educate Residents on Transportation Options in 2016

Door-Tran’s goal for 2016 is to educate and increase the knowledge of Door County residents on what transportation options are available to them. In order to do this, Door-Tran will have monthly workshops, presentations and an annual meeting.

Many transportation options were implemented in the past nine years based on needs in Door County. Door-Tran staff will begin providing monthly workshops in February, which will provide an overview of all transportation-related services. Workshops are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month starting Feb. 17, 10 – 11 am. Due to limited space, an RSVP is requested by calling 920.743.9999.

The public is invited to attend Door-Tran’s annual meeting on April 20, 9 – 11 am, at the Prince of Peace Church in Sturgeon Bay. This meeting will provide information on services completed in 2015 and what further goals Door-Tran has for 2016 and beyond. RSVP by calling 920.743.9999.
