$12,000 Raised for Local Charities

The Old Bolts Car Club (oldboltscarclub.org) hosted its 15th annual Harvest Festival Car Show on Sept. 18, when more than 225 classic cars, trucks and specialty vehicles were on display.

An opening ceremony included playing the national anthem, the Sturgeon Bay Coast Guard color guard displaying the colors, and a large American flag being suspended from the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department’s new ladder truck

Through registration fees and the generosity of a show-record nine major sponsors, more than $12,000 will be donated to this year’s selected organizations: Sturgeon Bay Boys and Girls Club, Door CANcer, Door County Special Olympics, Lakeshore CAP, and the Sturgeon Bay Police and Fire Departments. The refreshment stand donated 100% of its proceeds to Adopt-A-Solider Door County.Since 2006, the car show has donated $71,000-plus to local charities.
