2011 Fish Creek Winter Festival Event Schedule

This year’s Fish Creek Winter Festival will take place Feb. 4 – 6. Many of the festival’s activities will take place at a large heated tent at Clark Park, located at the waterfront in Fish Creek.

Friday, Feb. 4

• Carving of Ice Sculptures at Clark Park – Main Tent

• 6:30 – 10 pm: Rock n’ Roll Art Night at Hands On Art Studio for adults 21 or older. Big Mouth Trio will perform.

Saturday, Feb. 5

• 9 – 10 am: Kids Kite Making at the YMCA

• 10 am – 5 pm: “Winter Wine & Cherry Fest” at Orchard County Winery

• 10 am – 5 pm: All day food and beverages

• 10 am – 5 pm: All day games

• 10:30 am: Winter Festival Parade – Main Street

• 10:30 am – 5 pm: Human Foosball Tournament

• 11 am: Cake Walk in the Old Town Hall

• 11am – 3 pm: SOUP! Homemade soup and bowls at Peninsula School of Art

• 11am – 5 pm: Free Door County Trolley Rides with stops at the Main Tent and throughout Fish Creek

• 11:30 am: Kid’s Treasure Hunt – Top of the Hill Shops

• 12 pm: Judging of the Chili Cook-Off in the Main Tent

• 1 pm: 4 Person Tandem Ski Race

• 4 pm: Grand Prize Drawing – (2) Key West 49CC Motor Scooters

• 5:30 – 8 pm: Candlelight Ski in Peninsula State Park

• 7 – 9 pm: Door County Idol at Door Community Auditorium

• 10 pm: Rock & Roll Snow Dance with Big Mouth at Alexander’s

Sunday, Feb. 6

• Businesses open for shopping and dining.

• 10:10 am: Fish Creek’s 2nd Annual Fruit Loop (1/2 mile costumed winter fun run) starts at Main Tent with a Fruit Loop Breakfast to follow the run.
