2013 Philanthropists of the Year

Barbara and Spencer Gould were honored as this year’s Philanthropists of the Year by the Door County Community Foundation on Wednesday, June 26, at its annual Celebration of Giving held at the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club, Egg Harbor. The Goulds have called Door County home since 1988, and since then have been involved in American Folklore Theatre, Peninsula Singers, Midsummer’s Music Festival, Ephraim Foundation, the YMCA, Northern Door Child Care, The Ridges Sanctuary, Door County Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy and the Peninsula Music Festival.
