April 22: Science on Tap kick-off party from 5 to 8 pm at Door County Brewing Co., Baileys Harbor, with music by Ruby James, Roger Kuhns and Door County Folk Alliance.

April 23: Earth Day Extravaganza at The Ridges Sanctuary, Baileys Harbor, 10 am to 4 pm.

Earth Day Barn Dance, Institute Saloon, music by Sugar on the Floor, 7 to 9:30 pm.

April 25 and 28: Field testing of a carbon footprint computer app by developer Roger Kuhns, Sturgeon Bay High School.

April 27: Two presentations beginning at 7 pm at Björklunden in Baileys Harbor. Protecting Our Planet’s Sustainability: Solutions for Climate Change, presented by Roger Kuhns; presentation on the green & healthy schools certification awarded to Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay high schools.

April 29: Arbor Day tree planting on Nature Conservancy property by Sturgeon Bay and Gibraltar high school students.

April 30: Public tree planting, 10 am to 2 pm, Kangaroo Lake headwaters. Volunteers are needed. Call 920.421.2283.
