2017 Door County House and Garden Walk Features Artists’ Homes, Demos

The 57th Annual Door County House and Garden Walk is scheduled for July 25, 9 am – 5 pm, hosted by the Door County Medical Center Auxiliary.

The proceeds are earmarked for the Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic. This is the third and final year the Dental Clinic will receive the Walk proceeds, and in the past two years the Auxiliary has given $50,000 to this worthy endeavor. Under-privileged families in our community who do not have dental insurance are able to receive dental care because of our efforts.

This year the walk will also feature two famous Door County artists, Rick Brawner and Dave Hackett, at two of the homes. They will exhibit their art and demonstrate their techniques. Another new feature of the Walk is partnering with many Door County restaurants. These restaurant managers have agreed to contribute 15 percent of their sales to the Auxiliary for all ticket holders who enjoy lunch or dinner on House and Garden Walk Day.
