2018 Wisconsin Science Festival

The final Door County event for the Wisconsin Science Festival 2018 is offered at Crossroads at Big Creek on Oct. 27, 3:30 pm. The workshop is sponsored by UW Extension, Door County Libraries and Crossroads.

“Messy Homemade Science” features presenter Dr. Tom Zinnen from UW-Madison Biotech Outreach. He will introduce learners of all ages to ooey gooey ways to make science happen. Roll up your sleeves and join in. Learn how to make science happen right in your own kitchens with basic ingredients. The workshop has lots of hands-on experiments and exploration, along with some take-home ideas.

“Messy Homemade Science” is free and open to the general public. The program will take place in the Collins Learning Center Lab, located at 2041 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required by calling the Door County UW-Extension Office at 920.746.2260.
