2019 Recipients of Rotary Club Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to 12 graduating seniors of Door County high schools in recognition of their volunteer, personal and academic achievements.

The Service Above Self Academic Scholarship recipients were Madelyn LeClair and Payton Pluff of Gibraltar, Carson Talbert and Ashley Ellefson of Sturgeon Bay, Natalie Meikle of Sevastopol, and Alexis Wery of Southern Door.

Shianne Grosbeier of Sevastopol earned a Rising to the Challenge Academic Scholarship. The Robert Muckian Service Above Self Vocational Scholarship recipients were Benjamin Desotelle of Gibraltar, Hope Herbst of Sturgeon Bay, and Nathan Kaczmarek, Heath Kennedy and Jeneva McIntyre of Southern Door.In addition, 20 seniors were honored with a Rotary Vocational Award, recognizing their exceptional aptitude and work ethic in vocational fields of study; and 12 seniors earned a Rotary Service Above Self Award, highlighting their outstanding commitment to service to others.
