2019 Wet Whistle Wine Fest

The 2019 Wet Whistle Wine Fest will be held Sept. 13, 5-9 pm; and Sept. 14, 10 am – 6 pm, at the von Stiehl Winery (vonStiehl.com), 115 Navarino St. in Algoma. If offers a grape stomp, hearty sandwiches, cider, beer, soda and lots of wine: red, white, rosé, semi-sweet, dry, you name it. Food will also be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Algoma Fire Department. Bazooka Joe, the Annie Rose Band, and Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns will provide live music. (And lots of people wear costumes!) The fest is free on Friday and $10 per adult on Saturday. Children are free all weekend; those younger than 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
