2019 ypAward Winners

Dakota Londo and Amy Sullivan were honored as community leaders at the third annual ypAwards, hosted by NexGen Door County on April 24.

Londo, the 2019 Rising Star awardee, has served as the community impact coordinator for United Way of Door County’s health initiatives since August 2018. In that role, she meets with law enforcement, school administrators, students, mental-health providers and Door County Health and Human Services staff to develop and implement programs for our schools and community.

Sullivan, the 2019 Shining Star honoree, is a partner at Pinkert Law Firm. Born and raised in Door County, she began her legal career as a Pinkert associate attorney in 2012 and has since earned a spot as partner. Sullivan mentors new associate attorneys at the firm, has served on the board of Money Management Counselors as its secretary since 2014, has been secretary of We are Hope and the Boys and Girls Club of Door County, and has provided pro bono legal services at the last four Habitat for Humanity closings.
