Bangkok Asian Takeout, 7778 Hwy 42, Egg Harbor

Fresh Asian takeout from the Mojo Restaurant Group will eventually be located at the old Villaggio’s location in Juddville. For now, order from its pop-up location at Mojo Rosa’s in Egg Harbor.

Bearded Heart, 8093 Hwy 57, Baileys Harbor

The coffee shop that had been located in the small hut next to Door County Brewing Co. has moved down the street to a much larger building – the former home of Door Shakespeare. It offers coffee, tea, baked goods, lunch items and now beer and wine.

Blackbird Bakeshop

Sara Unkefer’s bake shop specializes in custom cakes and pastries.

Bridge Up Brewing Taproom, 129 N. Madison Ave., Sturgeon Bay

Trent Snyder opened the taproom of his brewery downstairs from Sonny’s Pizzeria at the foot of the Michigan Street Bridge this spring. Small-batch local brews mean there’s always something new.

Clover and Ash, 8054 Hwy 57, Baileys Harbor

Opened in January 2020, the newly remodeled location first featured Asian American shareable meals, but now has pivoted to authentic Italian entrées. Read about the remodel and grand opening here.

Fat Belly, 10621 N. Highland Road, Sister Bay

Look for burritos and bowls using fresh ingredients and custom flavor combos. Beer and wine are on tap. Located next door to Johnson’s Park.

The Filling Station at Husby’s, 10641 Bay Shore Dr., Sister Bay

This extension of Husby’s Garage Bar serves frozen drinks. The building is underway, with plans to open near the beginning of July.

Harbor Frozen Custard, 8078 Hwy 57, Baileys Harbor

Formerly known as Custard’s Last Stan, it’s open for the season and serving sandwiches, custard, coffee, smoothies, shakes, malts and candy.

Kick Ash Coffee, 12001 Mink River Road, Ellison Bay

In 2019, the family behind the local granola brand Door County Love Artisan Granola opened a coffee and bakery shop in what had been the Linden Gallery in the heart of Ellison Bay. You’ll find plenty of baked goods, salads, soups, wine, coffee, tea and other local products.

Lawlss, 108 S. Madison Ave., Sturgeon Bay

Stephan Witchell opened his coffee shop serving inventive drinks, creative coffee and pastries during the summer of 2019. Read more about Witchell and Lawlss here.

Pearl Wine Cottage, 3058 Church St., Ephraim

Prince of Pierogi, 9922 Water St., Ephraim

Open since May, this Polish specialty shop serves pierogis, Polish sausage, hunter’s stew and more.

Red Oak Winery, 5781 Hwy 42, Carlsville

The formerly Sturgeon Bay-based winery is in the process of moving to a new location in Carlsville, with an estimated opening date in July.

The Spoon, 210 S. 1st Ave., Sturgeon Bay

Formerly the Frozen Spoon, it’s located at the foot of the Maple-to-Oregon-Street bridge and serves wraps, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and frozen yogurt.

Sweet Willy’s Food Truck, 4100 Hwy 57, Sturgeon Bay

This food truck serving organic burgers, hot dogs, brats, Polish and Italian sausage opened during the summer of 2019.

Villaggios, 7778 Hwy 42, Egg Harbor

The longtime Juddville restaurant will be moving into the former Trio location at the corner of Highway 42 and County E in 2021 and will continue offering a menu of classic Italian pasta and pizza. Its menu is currently available for ordering out of Mojo Rosa’s in Egg Harbor.

Wally’s Weenie Wagon, downtown Baileys Harbor

Wild Pizza Works, 4633 Market Street, Egg Harbor

Formerly Wild Tomato, the takeout pizza establishment that shares the building with One Barrel Brewing has changed its name and now serves Roman-style pizza: rectangular in shape and sized as a meal for one.

Zero Sum, 10578 Country Walk Dr., Sister Bay

At the garden level of the Country Walk Shops, you’ll find freshly pressed juice, fruit smoothies, S’Good waffles and muffins, and local Isley coffee drinks.
