2023 Keep Wildlife Wild Poster Contest Opens

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ 2023 Keep Wildlife Wild poster contest is now open. This program helps to spread the word – through posters – about the importance of keeping all wildlife healthy by enjoying and observing animals in the wild and not keeping them in homes or as pets.

Students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades who are enrolled in public, private, parochial or home schools in the state are eligible to participate.

The poster must contain the words “Keep Wildlife Wild” and follow the theme, “If you care, leave them there!” It must also consist of original artwork of Wisconsin native wildlife, be 8 ½ inches by 11 inches, and be accompanied by the student’s entry form.

All entries should be submitted individually, not as a team, and by the deadline of Feb. 17, 5 pm. Submissions must be received by email to [email protected], or by mail to Wisconsin Keep Wildlife Wild Poster Design Contest, Department of Natural Resources, Attn: Taylor Czyscon, P.O. Box 100, Friendship, WI 53934. Visit dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/WildlifeHabitat/orphan to review the full submission details.
