2024 Write On Residency Applications Open

Write On, Door County is accepting applications for 2024 residencies for writers and literary arts administrators through April 1. Residencies of one week to one month are available to both emerging and established writers in any genre. 

New for 2024, Write On has set aside March, September and November for those who do not want a traditional residency. This opportunity allows for shorter stays and is ideal for members of small writing groups or book clubs who want a getaway to inspire creativity, or for writers who do not wish to create the community-engagement project that’s required in the residency program. 

Retreats require an application and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees apply.
