30 Years Later: Carter’s Energy Speech

Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of President Jimmy Carter’s famous speech on the energy crisis and his call for American sacrifice. Many historians view it as the final nail in the coffin of his presidency, but if only we had been so smart as to heed his advice.
