$35,000 Awarded to Sturgeon Bay Seniors

Sturgeon Bay seniors Christy Braun, Scarlet Serafico, Madelyn Wind and Collette Ullman have been named winners in the 2023 Bordui Foundation scholarship competition.

Braun will be awarded $20,000, and Serafico $5,000, to support their attendance at UW-Madison. Wind will receive $5,000 for her education at the University of Minnesota, and Ullman $5,000 to attend the University of Vermont.

The foundation’s trustees chose the recipients based on their grade-point average, test scores, essay submission and interview, along with input from the school’s faculty scholarship committee.

The Bordui Foundation has awarded $548,000 in scholarships to 47 Sturgeon Bay graduates since 2003.
