36th Annual Valmy Thresheree Schedule

It’s a John Deere Year

Celebrating Door County’s rural, agricultural heritage, the Valmy Thresheree, sponsored by the North Eastern Wisconsin Antique Power Association, is three days of family entertainment, Aug. 17-19. Visitors can see threshing machines in operation, antique hay balers, demos of corn bindering, oats combining, etc.; and many other antique machines showing off what they can do. For this 36th annual Thresheree, the featured manufacturer is John Deere. The tractor raffle, which benefits the Valmy Thresheree Foundation, is a 1952 T030 Ferguson with loader that’s restored and has a new coat of paint. Only 500 tickets will be sold at $20 each. The drawing is Aug. 19 at 5 pm.

Food and refreshments will be served all weekend. New for this year is a pancake breakfast on Aug. 18, 7-10 am.

Admission is $8 for the weekend, which includes a souvenir button, or $8 per day. For complete information visit valmythresheree.org.
