Jake, a sweet 7-year-old Beagle/Basset mix, was a surrender by an elderly local owner who was no longer able to take him for the walks he loves. In this photo, Jake is cuddling with a Humane Society volunteer on the couch in the “Get Acquainted” room. He is waiting to meet a wonderful family.

Darrell arrived at the Humane Society the day after Christmas in 2011. He had been found abandoned in a foreclosed house in Sturgeon Bay. Darrell is 2 – 3 years old, has been neutered, and fully vaccinated. His attitude is upbeat and hopeful that a home full of love is ahead.

Adoption costs are $90 for cats and kittens ($20.12 for the month of January), $150 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. All animals are vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. Dogs have had a behavioral assessment.
