Question: Who was the first high school girls basketball player in Door County to score 1,000 points in her career?

Answer: Chambers Island is named after Captain Talbot Chambers. It was ceded to the United States in the treaty of 1783 and named in 1816. Though now part of the Town of Gibraltar, Chambers was once its own community, and was Door County’s third registered township.
