Victor is a 10-year-old Pointer mix, who is quiet and unassuming. Now in his third month at the shelter, Victor likes to be with people and doesn’t seem to take any mind of the cats wandering in the lobby. While a staff person is doing desk work, he’ll come up for a nuzzle at knee-height, and then lay down to observe and nap. Perfectly content with a short walk followed by a treat, Victor is ideal for a mature household where he can be cherished for the rest of his life. He is current with vaccinations, neutered and micro-chipped.

Adoption costs are $90 for cats and kittens, $150 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. All animals are vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. Dogs have had a behavioral assessment.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD) in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit http://www.doorcountyhumanesociety.org.
