Lola

The Door County Humane Society (DCHS) has two female dogs offering different – but equally endearing – attributes, and one may be just what your family is seeking in a new best friend.

Lola, a young girl, one-to-two-years-old, is a hound mix that has been at the shelter since July. She has the energy to keep up with an active household, while giving great dog kisses to her adopters. Lola would adore a fenced place to run or several daily walks.

Cuddles

Cuddles, a six-to-eight-year-old chocolate Lab mix, is a recent surrender to DCHS. There were young children in her previous home, and she adored play time with them. Cuddles is a mellow, affectionate dog who has the temperament to be outside chasing tennis balls or inside on the couch.

Adoption costs are $90 for cats and $150 for dogs. Every animal is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Free 30 days of pet insurance after adoption may be continued at owner’s option.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD) in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111, visit http://www.doorcountyhumanesociety.org or “Like” the Door County Humane Society on Facebook.

Bleach, scoopable cat litter and dog treats are always needed at DCHS.
