Lucky

Introducing our female American Blue Heeler Lucky – actually, her first name should be “Happy Go” because she is a two-year-old delight of a dog. Lucky is medium-sized and ideal for an individual or a family. She’s full of fun, loves her toys and car rides to McDonald’s. Lucky arrived at DCHS in late October, surrendered by her previous owner due to lifestyle changes. As a four-month resident at the shelter, the shelter hopes her luck will change in the opening weeks of 2013 when her new family will find her. Get Lucky!

The dilute calico Cupcake was also surrendered to DCHS after her former family had a change in their situation. She’s a sweet and affectionate cat, approximately six or seven years old. Cupcake returned to the shelter in November and she misses the luxury of curling up with a family.
