Marty

Coming to the shelter just before Christmas, Marty the bright-eyed Beagle set about capturing the hearts of all the kennel caregivers. This 5-year-old boy has such a merry way about him. He’s gregarious and never met a stranger. Marty would be an ideal family dog, but – fair warning – he’ll want to be part of whatever is going on!

Nora

Our little, longhaired lovely is Nora, a stray from Liberty Grove who arrived at the Humane Society on Jan. 3. Believed to be about 5-months-old, Nora is a beautiful kitten who purrs easily and often.

Adoption costs are $90 for cats and $150 for dogs. All animals are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD) in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit http://www.dooranimals.com.

A Shopping Day for the Door County Humane Society will be held Feb. 16 at Main Street Market in Egg Harbor from 10 am – noon. A bottle of bleach, a can of cat food, a roll of paper towels – these items are needed every day at DCHS.
