Queen

Summer is racing by, and the animals at the Door County Humane Society are making the most of the warm days. Our dogs run through the kiddie pool in the play yard, while the cats in the colony rooms stretch out lazily on their cat trees to watch birds outside the windows.

Queen is one of those cats. She’s a 3- to 5-year-old tabby who came to the shelter as a surrender from the City of Sturgeon Bay. Housed in colony #1 just inside the entrance doors of the Humane Society, Queen enjoys the company of her fellow residents. Queen was declawed by her previous owner. With the two-for-one adoption special, she could be adopted with a second cat for $90 total.

Roo is also a City of Sturgeon Bay animal, but arrived as a stray found on 4th Avenue. He’s a medium sized boy, an American Blue Heeler mix. Only three years old, Roo is full of youthful energy and loves playtime. He’s mad for car rides with our kennel coordinator as well. Dog adoption fee is $150. Come in to meet Roo, and spend time in the play yard with him.
