Flirt

Introducing the F-Cats, and no, that isn’t a hip new jazz band. The F-cats were abandoned in the Target parking lot earlier this year. Now they are Frito, Fred, Flurry, Fenwick, Frisbee and Flirt, and doing well at the shelter. Our cattery staff estimates they were born in February 2013. They vary in shades of gray or orange, living together in two groups.

This free-spirited, sharp-as-a-tack Beagle/Australian Shepherd mix is Rusty, a stray from the Village of Forestville. Rusty has terrific people skills; he is overjoyed when each volunteer comes to walk him or play ball in the yard. Rusty is 4 to 5 years old, full of life and love, just perfect for a family wanting a lifelong pal.

Rusty

Rusty attended the recent “Bark by the Bay” event at Martin Park, and had such a good time meeting other people and their dogs. His distinctive face and extroverted personality enchanted all the attendees.

The two-for-one cat adoption special of $90 continues in September, and the dog adoption fee is $150. All animals are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
