64th Annual Sister Bay Fall Festival

Easily the granddaddy of all Door County Fall Festivals, Sister Bay’s annual Fall Fest, is upon us once again. Food, fun, music, and a slate of activities abound – and even though the Ping Pong Ball “Drop” is now a “Shoot,” don’t let that stop you from settling into the scene and gorging yourself on a cherry pie-in-a-cup, a brat, or a Philly Cheesesteak (or heck, all three).

These photos, taken over past Fall Fests, highlights the goodness of a Door County fall season in all its glory. The 2009 Fall Fest Schedule is below:

Friday, October 16:

• 9 am – 5 pm: Classic Auto Show at Waterfront Park, hosted by the Sister Bay Lions Club
• 10 am – 5 pm: Arts & Crafts Show on Mill Road
• 5 – 8 pm: Fish Boil at the Sister Bay Fire Station (Mill Road)
• 6 – 7 pm: Children’s Cake Walk, sponsored by the Gibraltar Music Boosters

Saturday, October 17:

• 7 – 11 am: Pancake Breakfast at the Sister Bay Village Hall, sponsored by Kiwanis
• 9 am – 4 pm: Inflatable Games/Badger Bouncers (next to Al Johnson’s, weather permitting
• 9 am – 5 pm: Classic Auto Show at Waterfront Park, hosted by the Sister Bay Lions Club
• 10 am – 5 pm: Arts & Crafts Show on Mill Road
• 11 am: Parade with Max Sample, Parade Marshall (Preble High School Marching Band at Marina Park after the parade)
• 1 pm: Dog Show, Downtown Park Tent, proceeds to benefit the Door County Humane Society
• 7:30 – 10 pm: Teen Dance at the Sister Bay Village Hall

Sunday, October 18:

• 9 am – 2 pm: Classic Auto Show at Waterfront Park
• 10 am – 3 pm: Arts & Crafts Show
• 2 pm: Ping Pong Ball Shoot
