Seven-year-old Brady is a sociable Beagle, an appealing boy who misses couch time at home. Brady was surrendered to the Humane Society when it was no longer possible for his Algoma owner to give him consistent care. Brady immediately charmed our volunteer dog walkers and endeared himself to the kennel staff with little tricks he does for rawhide treats. As a Beagle, his nose dominates all other senses, so a fenced yard or leash walks several times a day must be part of his new family’s plan. It is not advisable to bring Brady into a household with cats. Beagles are an outgoing and temperate breed who bond quickly to their families for years of loving companionship. Dog adoption fee is $150.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit
