Homer

Homer is a millennial cat, born in June 2000. Yes, he is a senior gentleman, in a home for 11 years after being adopted from Door County Humane Society. When his former owner in Green Bay hit difficult financial times, Homer was returned to us in December 2012. It’s what our adoption contract requires, and the Humane Society will work tirelessly to find a new home for Homer so he may enjoy his golden years in comfort and calm.

Homer has striking green eyes, a cinnamon and white coat, and is front declawed. When visiting the shelter, look to the left upon entering the front doors, Homer is in cat colony #1, probably looking right back at you. The cat adoption fee is $90.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.
