6th Annual Elementary Kids’ Carnival Adds Happy NESS

Mark your calendars for Friday, Feb. 22 for the 6th Annual Kid’s Carnival. The fun starts at 5 pm with games, food and more! There will be corn dogs, nachos, popcorn chicken, pizza, cotton candy, and all kinds of fun stuff. And of course there are always traditional and new games and prizes with loads of 25-cent fun.

New this year is Happy NESS balloonatics and a photo booth. Happy NESS balloons are awesome. The balloon hats and animals are out of this world. Sponsored by the Gibraltar Entrepreneurship JA Student Company Operation, Happy NESS will be on hand for three hours to make hats, balloon animals, and other great balloon goodies for everybody. The photo booth will offer Polaroid pictures of the kids’ at the carnival to capture the fun.

Be sure to visit the cake walk, hoops games, fishin’ pond and Shrek for loads of kid fun. And of course be prepared to get your favorite teacher, bus driver, coach, or even the principal right smack dab in the kisser with a loaded sponge at the Sponge Bob throw. Bring some cash for the 50/50 raffle, because it’s always a good chance to win a few bucks and support a great cause.

Proceeds from the event will provide continuous playground improvements, support beautification projects, the library literacy projects and more.

Everyone is welcome to attend, so join us at Gibraltar Area Schools in the Mural Gym. The Carnival runs from 5 – 8 pm. There will be plenty of food for dinner. Admission is free and games are only a quarter each.
