Jan

Jan and Greg are not a pop duo, but they rock! Siblings from a group of five kittens found on Bluff Drive in October, Jan and Greg reached the goal weight for spay/neuter surgery two weeks ago. Now they are full of kinetic kitten energy, anticipating the big wide world beyond their apartment cage. Adopting a pair of kittens can be a double blessing – they keep each other entertained growing up together, and you have twice the fun watching them frolic. There are more than 75 kittens presently at the humane society, and all can claim unsurpassed cuteness. Visitors are especially welcome to visit the humane society for their open house on Dec. 6, 12 – 4pm. Cat adoption fee is $90 and includes vaccinations, sterilization surgery, micro-chip, and 30 days pet insurance.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.

The Door County Humane Society’s Community Open House is Saturday, Dec. 6 from 12 – 4 pm. Refreshments served, no charge. All families welcome to tour the shelter, visit the animals, and learn more about the role of the humane society.
