Amy Farrah adores attention. When visitors come into her colony #5 home, Amy Farrah jumps down from her perch to give gentle head bumps. Her purr of delight is decibels louder than some of her fellow colony cats. Amy Farrah arrived in June 2014 as a stray from the Town of Sturgeon Bay; she was pregnant and soon gave birth to four lovely kittens. Her kids are in their new homes, but Amy Farrah remains with DCHS. Only 2 years old, this girl will provide years of warming companionship to the lucky adopter. There is a small ulcer in her right eye that has been examined by our veterinarian. It is not a hindrance to her in any way. Amy Farrah has been spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Adoption cost is $90 including 30 days of pet health insurance.

The Door County Humane Society is located at 3475 County Road PD (across from Cherryland Airport), Sturgeon Bay, and is open for adoptions Mon.-Wed.-Fri.-Sat.-Sun., 12-4 pm. For more information, call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.
