The public is invited to the 7th Annual Barn Dance & Chautauqua at the Saxon Homestead Farm, 15621 S. Union Road in Cleveland, Wis., hosted by the Klessig families, from 4-10:30 pm, on Sept. 24. This event celebrates our rural communities and includes a full “farm to barn” harvest buffet and entertainment.
This year’s event will feature the Future of Farming with speakers Dick Cates, co-founder of the Wisconsin School for Beginning Livestock and Dairy Farmers, along with Julie Mauer and Melissa Bender, president and executive director consecutively, of the Wisconsin Agricultural and Education Center.
