‘8142 Review’ Now Available Locally

The 8142 Review is a literary journal that contains the winning submissions to the annual Hal Prize: the Peninsula Pulse’s fiction, nonfiction, poetry and photography contest, held in partnership with Write On, Door County and Peninsula School of Art. 

From 874 contest submissions, a panel of judges selected the top four works in each genre for inclusion in the first edition of the review, which came out last fall. Volume two will be released in November, featuring the winning entries in this year’s contest.

The publication is available online at doorcountypulse.com/shop/books/8142-review, and it’s currently available locally at Main Street Market and Brilliant Stranger in Egg Harbor; Novel Bay Booksellers, Within Things Curiosity Shop and ARTicipation Studio and Gallery in Sturgeon Bay; and Yardstick Books and Clay on Steele in Algoma.
