86th Annual Lumberjack Supper is Jan. 26

The Mens’ Club of the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church will serve its 86th annual Lumberjack Supper on Jan. 26, 3-6:30 pm, as take-home meals only. Diners will pick up their meals at the carport in the church’s parking lot, 836 Michigan St.

The traditional meal of corned beef, cabbage, roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, rutabaga and baked beans is available for $15 per ticket. Tickets will be available at sturgeonbayumc.org, in the church lobby beginning Jan. 10, and at the pickup site at the time of the supper (if any remain). The supper is limited to 500 tickets.

The annual Lumberjack Supper began in 1935 and has been canceled only twice: one year during World War II and last year because of the pandemic.
