8TH ANNUAL LILY BAY ART CRAWL

The artisans of Lily Bay will host their annual art crawl July 15-17, 10 am – 5 pm. Signs will provide locations on North Lake Michigan Drive and Glidden Drive along Lily Bay on Lake Michigan so that art crawlers can make all the stops.

Along the route, see the new work on display at Linda Sheard’s Lily Bay Pottery gallery, and help her celebrate 10 years by having some cake and libations. Also see Nancy Prange’s photography, which has been exhibited at numerous galleries around the state and nation. At another stop, Kerry Vavra’s watercolors feature botanicals, barns and nautical subjects. Her work was featured in a 2021 issue of the Peninsula Pulse.

Jane Faella challenges herself with new seasonal designs and will have her silver, beach stone, beach glass, pearl, turquoise and jasper jewelry and wall art on display. Jim Hoyer’s specialty creations include tables, mirrors, wine racks and folk art made of twigs and driftwood.

Jean Bass’ jewelry designs incorporate seed beads, crystals and pearls, and they range from simple to complex patterns. Vintage pieces of sapphires, rubies, emeralds and other precious gemstones go into the jewelry treasures created by Joanne Mast.

A portion of the sales will be donated to local nonprofits, including Habitat for Humanity, Neighbor to Neighbor and HELP of Door County.
