This clever cat came from Fish Creek with his five littermates in July 2014. His name is Virgil, and he’s curious about everything. A dangling drawstring or scarf is a magnet to engage Virgil’s playful personality. A small birth defect caused scar tissue to develop on his left eye, but after a thorough check-up by a veterinary eye specialist, it’s been determined Virgil has full sight in that eye. The eye does not hinder his quality of life, but rather gives him a rakish appearance. Virgil is 10 months old, 8 lbs., neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Cat adoption fee is $90.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.
