Gordy’s name could not be more fitting for this simple, laidback and handsome boy. The word Gordon means hill or field and this directly connects with his love for being outdoors and soaking up the sun. Gordy is a seven- or eight-year-old Beagle mix. He came to the Door County Humane Society as a stray on May 2, 2015. He also highly enjoys being around people and would be a great companion in a loving home. If you are looking for a relaxed friend to spend time outside with, look no further than this great guy.

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD – the road to Potawatomi State Park), Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit dooranimals.com.
