Crest

Sometimes those who are quiet really have big personalities; they are just being careful who they open up to. Crest is the perfect example of this personality. While he is a shy guy and needs to warm up to you at his pace he is full of love and fun. Crest is a two-year-old white and grey shorthaired cat that thoroughly enjoys being scratched along the top of his back. He is extremely athletic and loves using his speed and agility to chase after laser pointers. So if you’re looking for a shy guy that will warm up to you and provide you with great companionship come and check out Crest!

The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 County Road PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit doorcountyhumanesociety.org.

Collin & Caitlin Update

Caitlin the Basset Hound and Collin the Shelter cat are continuing to plan their trip down the aisle. The couple has taken steps to reduce their stress level by hiring event planner April Delfosse. Delfosse is in charge of planning the couple’s wedding, which will take place on Aug. 14, 2015. Since the couple love children they have decided to invite the public to their service, which will be held at Peg Egan Performing Arts Center in Egg Harbor at 12 pm. After the short service they will host many educational and interactive activities and games. The early afternoon event is free, but a donation is always welcome. The community is also invited to their reception at Gordon Lodge in Baileys Harbor starting at 5 pm with entertainment by WIFEE and the HUZz BAND. To reserve tickets for the reception, call April Delfosse at 920.746.1111, ext 8.
