This year, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church made its final payment on its new addition, the Canterbury Room, and celebrated with a burning of the debt service on Feb. 2. This expansion, which cost nearly $300,000, was completed in 2011. It provides space for gatherings including a number of community groups such as Canterbury Cinema and Midsummer Music Festival. This month they are hosting a Clearing class on Jerusalem led by the Rev. Barbara Sajna, Rector at St. Luke’s.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is located at 9336 Canterbury Lane, near Bargains Unlimited. Services are Sunday mornings at 10 am.
