A Frosty Frostbite Open

Nick Kwaterski (center) took home the title at the 2nd Red Putter Frostbite Open New Year’s Day in Ephraim. Kwaterski’s two-round score of 80 was enough to best Paul Nelson (right) and Nicholas Havel (left).

Thirty-three putters played in the second annual Frostbite Open at the Red Putter Mini Golf in Ephraim on New Year’s Day.

Nick Kwaterski of Sister Bay took home the first place trophy and $700 cash. Paul Nelson of Fish Creek took second place after a two-hole tiebreaker with Nicholas Havel of Sturgeon Bay, who ended up in 3rd place. Kwaterski also took home a trophy for best single game with a score of 37. All winners also received a Red Putter hat and scarf.
