• The Sister Bay Advancement Association (SBAA) has hired Paige Funkhouser as the first, full-time, year-round coordinator of the SBAA.

Paige Funkhouser

The SBAA Board of Directors decided to hire a coordinator to help improve the marketing and communication efforts of the association.

“SBAA has gotten so busy that volunteer help can no longer do the job adequately,” said SBAA President Ron Kane. “Many people don’t think it takes the hours it does to do what the SBAA accomplishes. But we’ve found that for one person, it’s more than a 40 hour a week job.”

The big picture goal of the coordinator’s job for Funkhouser is to increase and improve communication with SBAA members, village residents and northern Door County. Ideally, the new coordinator will help increase tourism and awareness of Sister Bay in the minds of visitors, as well as improve the business climate in the village. For more information, contact Paige Funkhouser at 920.559.1560 or [email protected].

With the Fairfield building’s downtown location and modern interior, it was a simple decision to make given the features and location of the new studio.
