A Green Donation

The Ridges Sanctuary recently received grant funding of $2,340 from the Door County Green Fund of the Door County Community Foundation in support of the Door County Climate Change Forum, to be held June 7 at The Lodge at Leathem Smith in Sturgeon Bay.

The goal of the event is to initiate a dialog that will lead to collaboration by many Door County organizations and individuals in addressing climate change.

“People of quite different political views in Door County all care deeply about the environment and work together on many environmental initiatives, in particular on preserving and caring for our unique coastline and lands,” said Climate Coalition co-chair Mary Smythe.
