A look at Door County news in brief last week

• The Michigan Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay re-opened June 30 just in time for the Fourth of July holiday. The bridge will be closed again this October for final touches.

• Eighth Congressional District Representative Reid Ribble addressed the Door County Board of Supervisors June 28 at the board’s monthly regular meeting. It was believed to be the first time a sitting U.S. Representative addressed the county board.
