A Poet’s Photography

Now through June 30th at the Third Avenue Playhouse Art Gallery is Enter the Forest – an exhibit of the photo art of poet and photographer Sharon Auberle.

Auberle enjoys enhancing her photos through various digital and actual physical applications, such as watercolor, colored pencil, and beeswax. Her work has been featured in three shows in the Madison area, with poet Alice D’Alessio’s writings and has been exhibited in juried shows in Door County and Flagsaff, Arizona, as well as in numerous anthologies and online journals.

Her photo-art may be found in two of her books: EVErywoman and Crow Ink, as well as Wind Where Music Was – with poet Ralph Murre.

When not out taking photos or writing, Auberle may be found hanging pictures and poems at her website, Mimi’s Golightly Cafe’, which she has authored for the past eights.

This exhibit is open to view during regular box office hours: noon until showtime on performance days and noon – 5 pm on non-performance days. TAP is located at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
